Stuart and Chinua are born on a farm on the same day that Rhodesia illegally declares its independence from Great Britain. Despite coming from different worlds -- Stuart’s rich, white father owns the farm where Chinua’s Black parents toil the land -- the two become friends as the land of their birth struggles to find its identity. But when they turn fourteen, their parents force them to become adversaries on opposite sides of the Bush War. After it ends, the promise of Zimbabwe quickly fades under the brutal hand of notorious dictator Robert Mugabe. For Stuart and Chinua, it is a painful and terrible thing to witness. While abroad, a shocking series of circumstances brings Stuart and Mugabe, face-to-face. Gripped with regret and anger, Stuart faces an awful choice: when he arrives, does he serve the President tea, or shoot him dead? Based on a true story...
